Who can use the Library? 
Everyone is welcome in the library. You must show your library card to borrow library material or use the computers. You are financially responsible for any material borrowed with your library card.

What are the Library’s loan periods?

  • Books – 2 weeks
  • Magazines – 2 weeks
  • Audiobooks – 2 weeks
  • Hotspot – 1 week
  • DVD’s – 1 week
  • Music CD – 1 week

What fees are charged?
The Peru Public Library charges fines for items returned late. We also charge to replace a lost library card, book, dvd, Hotspot, etc.

What are the Library’s fines?

  • Books – 10¢ per day
  • Magazines – 10¢ per day
  • DVD’s – $1.00 per day
  • Hotspot – $1.00 per day
  • Audiobooks – $1.00 per day
  • Music CD’s – $1.00 per day
  • Replacement library cards – $2.00
