For the first time ever, the library is offering FREE SEEDS! That’s right! You can stop in and grab vegetable seeds, herb seeds, and some flower seeds to grow your own garden. Seeds are available upstairs in the main library and downstairs in the youth services department. Availability is limited, so stop in soon to get your pick of the patch! To ensure all interested will get seeds, we ask that you only take 5 packets and please ensure that you check in at the desk with your name and the number of packets chosen. No library card is necessary, just your name!
Then, later this summer, when your garden has begun producing an abundance of produce for you and your family, you can share what you don’t need here at the library! We’ll have a harvest table where growers can share the produce they don’t need that was grown in their garden.
