Did you know you can place holds on our On-Order (aka Pre-Publication) fiction books? When one of our standing order authors (James Patterson, Jayne Ann Krentz, Nora Roberts, plus a 100 more) announces a new book, we add it to the catalog so Peru patrons can place holds on them. The On-Order books tend to appear in the catalog 3 to 6 months before the actual release date, so check back often place your holds for that Stuart Woods book coming out later this year.
Once you have the On-Order list displayed, you will notice most have this wording Not available at Peru PL Tech Services PUGG-8 (On-Order), this is the clue the book has been ordered for our collection but it hasn’t yet been published and shipped to us. You can place your request by clicking on the Request It button next to the title.
Once the book is released to the public, we will begin filling the requests in the order they were placed. So place your hold today.
