Are you often wondering what new books, audios, or dvds we have recently gotten in?
While you may already know how to place holds, renew your items or check on the due dates of what you have currently checked out…..there is also a gem on our Peru Public Library PrairieCat online catalog page. The carousels of new items.
Once on our catalog page, if you scroll down below the search options, you will see the carousels with our New Adult Books, New Juvenile Books, New Audio, and New Videos. Keep scrolling even farther down, you will discover the current New York Times Bestsellers carousel.
Find one that piques your interest? Just click on the graphic for it and you will be brought to the information for that item. From there you can see if it is currently available or you can place a hold on it.
Another helpful feature on our Peru Public Library PrairieCat online catalog page is the option to turn on your Reading History. Reading History is an Opt In feature, controlled by only you, it keeps a list of items you have checked out beginning from the day you Opt In. This is helpful when trying to remember if you have read a certain book or watched a certain movie. To Opt In to this feature, you must first login to your account. After logging in, choose My Account > Reading History > Save Reading History.
